This beautiful instrument is famous for its beatiful tune because it captives all audience in general; the violin belongs to string-instrument category, it is the littlest instrument of the bowed string instrument family, which are violoncello, viola and bass. its strings are made of metal, silver or cantino, a steel wire, and sometimes of gold. In order to read the scores, people use clefs. The violin has many parts, its principal part is a sound box, with beautiful shapes, a sound post, which is the soul of the violin, a bridge, a tailpiece, etc.


We have many kinds of violins, and they recieve their name depending of its size,


-Concert violin, its size is 4/4, used by adults who dedicate the time to play this instrument.

-Studio Violin, its size is 3/4 and 2/4, is used by children.

- Lady violin, its size is 7/8, is used for adults who has their hands little. 

We also have 2 categories of violin, the acoustical one and the electroacoustic;

The acoustic violin is the one we can use wherever we are, just the violin and the bow.
The electroacoustic violin is a simple violin, but it has an electric output, we can use it with an amplifier or we can also use it without it.
