Descriptive paragraph:

A descriptive paragraph colorfully describes a person, place or thing. It allows you to imagine the way a person felt, heard or saw the object or location at a particular time regardless if the writer explains a real or imagined circumstance. Additionally, a descriptive paragraph gives readers a vivid image of a person, place or thing.

“Lake Coatepeque:
This place is one of the most beautiful patrimonies of El Salvador; you can find this lake in Santa Ana, on way to “El cerro verde”; Coatepeque literally means from Nahualt “cerro de serpientes”; its water is pretty nice, cold and clean; we also have good places in which we can stay, eat and use either jet skis, boats or surfing tables, we can also pay diving classes, which is a really nice experience. This lake is among many mountains and hills that make the lake a wonderful place to go and enjoy with family and friends.
If we want, we can fish or swim because as touristic place it is, we find places in which people pay to have a nice time. Going to the lake is the best choice to go on weekends or in vacations.

Lately, once a year the lake turns its water in a turquoise color, which makes the lake even more tourist and interesting, no one knows the specific reason why the lake turns into another color, but we consider it a gift from the nature.”

Narrative

Narrative paragraph:

A narrative paragraph tells the story of an event, providing the relevant details of when and where the event occurred as well as who was included and what transpired. The paragraph describes either an actual event or a fictional one that the writer creates

“The shades among us:

Once upon at the time, there was a guy called Leon, the only habitant of the city; Leon lived in a city called Kadykchan, Russia. He was alone in the city because the city was cursed, all the habitants died, except he. The curse consisted in that all the habitants have to die, except one, and this survivor could not leave the city until he die at the age of 75, he had to suffer people’s nightmares and pain till that age. He suffered unbearable tortures, and all the terrible nightmares that we can imagine were chasing him, even the worst demons in our nightmares were hounding him. He was about to turn 75, five days were left, he was in his home, an old wagon, he considered his wagon a home; suddenly, he listened to little steps getting closer and closer, he was in completely darkness: open-eyed and scared, he listened carefully and tried to see what was coming, but nothing seems to come, four days passed with the same creepy feeling of someone walking, walking towards him. Finally the last day, the day in which he was turning 75 years old, he woke up really scared because the last night he felt someone breathing next to him, so he was expecting something horrible along the day; in fact a terrible way to die was waiting for him, as usually he go out to walk around, he felt someone following him, he entered an old building, what a big mistake, that was place in which he would die; Suddenly, a force captured him, throwing him to the ground; he was feeling an indescribable pain, the demon or ghost, that’s a mystery, was starting his body off, member by member until he died from that horrible pain. The curse was over, and people can live in the city again, but Leon’s spirit is still walking around, suffering, without rest.”
